Saying “I’m a lesbian,” sounds way cooler than saying “I’m gay.” I’m pretty jealous of lesbians in this regard. How come the lesbians got such a cool word? Can the male-identifying gays get a cool word? Because lesbians are gay. Lesbians can say “I’m gay/homosexual,” OR they can say “I’m a lesbian.” Like, we just get “I’m gay,” or “I’m a gay.” BORING.
